TP 92 OEM Tonearm

The completely newly developed precision tonearm TP 92 is a gimbal-suspended tonearm with Löfgren geometry.

A high-precision Japanese ball bearing with special oil is used as the horizontal bearing. The bearing is located below the tonearm tube at needle height, which ensures stability and quietness. The counterweight for adjusting the tracking force, which is decoupled by two rubber rings, is also exactly at the height of the needle.

The tonearm tube of the TP 92 is made of cold-compressed special aluminum. Using a laser vibrometer, the natural vibrations of the arm tube were analyzed and specifically dampened.

The headshell is also made of aluminum and is coupled to the tonearm tube over a large area to increase stability. The overhang can be adjusted by moving the headshell or the entire arm tube in the bearing block. The screw connection in the bearing block also allows the azimuth angle to be adjusted by turning the arm tube. Due to the shape of the headshell, the pickup's center of gravity remains under the center of the tonearm tube, which prevents torsional vibrations.

The VTA can be quickly and easily adjusted to the desired height by loosening the tonearm screw on the chassis. Two ferrite magnets provide the required anti-skating force without contact and smoothly, which can be changed using an adjustment screw.

The TP 92 is available with loose tonearm cables or mini DIN 5-pin plugs.
