The charm of monaural is being reevaluated, and past masterpieces are being reprinted one after another. In order to maximize the power of the sound of the monaural disc and the expression of the sound image, we recommend that you listen to it with a cartridge dedicated to monaural playback.

Many monaural cartridges on the market today have stylus tips with a needle tip size of 0.6~0.7mil to match modern record cutting.
"MP-MONO" is equipped with a 0.7 mil stylus chip as standard, and was developed with the aim of high-resolution monaural reproduction by bringing out the contours and realism of the sound of monaural discs.

The 1 mil replacement needle is a stylus tip that can reproduce a powerful sound with a thick mid-bass tone.
In the era when monaural records were the norm (mid-1940s ~ mid-50s), record playback with a 1mil stylus chip was the mainstream.
We are particular about the sound field and atmosphere of the time, and tune it so that you can get a more original monaural experience.
