SCM45A Pro Active Studio Monitor

The SCM45A Pro is a newly developed, compact and extremely powerful active 3-way loudspeaker from the ground up. With high volume for its size and extended bass response without sacrificing balance, the SCM45A Pro can be used in both the near and midfield. It features two 6.5" carbon paper woofers that provide deep bass response with high SPL, a 3" soft dome midrange driver and the new proprietary 1" ATC dual suspension tweeter with improved high resolution.

The active, proprietary ATC Tri-AmpPack is used to control the drivers - a three-channel, discretely constructed MOSFET power amplifier in Class A/B circuitry with 150, 60 or 25 W for the bass, midrange and treble range. The SCM45A Pro is physically symmetrical and not a mirror image. Its size also makes it perfect for positioning on or behind the meter bridge of a mixing console. This means that it can also be used as a center speaker between other SCM45A Pro or SCM50ASL Pro 3-way active speakers.
