SCM20PSL Pro Active Studio Monitor

The ATC SCM20P Pro mk2 is a passive 2-way loudspeaker for demanding near-field monitoring in control rooms, as LCR surround monitors in small to medium-sized control rooms and as surround loudspeakers in medium-sized and large listening rooms, and ensures more even acoustic results in the sound - and panorama control and enable faster work in less tiring listening conditions.
The 150 mm super linear bass/mid driver developed by ATC with its 75 mm (3) voice coil in "short coil/long gap" design combines the high resilience and low power compression of large, highly efficient systems with the fine resolution and balance of modern high- Fi speakers. As a perfect complement, the SCM20P Pro mk2 has the SH-25-76S 25 mm soft dome tweeter, also developed by ATC. This tweeter with a massive neodymium driver is characterized by a particularly linear and extended frequency response (-6 dB at 26 kHz) and low non-linear distortion.
The MDF housing with complex internal bracing is clad with highly damping elastomer panels on the inner walls to reduce housing vibrations and the housing edges on the front have also been strongly rounded to minimize sound refraction and thus improve the frequency response and precision.
