The SCM20ASL Limited Edition is ATC's 50th anniversary gift to itself - and to you. This exclusive model is limited to just 150 units and features the finest transducer and active speaker technology from the British in a compact, closed housing.
The two-way active speaker is finished in a stunning high-gloss finish that picks up the dark blue of the ATC company logo. To match the case, the front baffle is hand-upholstered with royal blue, full-grain Nappa leather from the German leather specialist Eissmann. The outer alloy elements are anodized silver and form a striking contrast to the blue paint and leather of the housing and baffle.

The ATC SCM20ASL LE – Details

The SCM20ASL Limited Edition combines the best in-house loudspeaker drivers with a perfectly tailored integrated active amplifier. The new model integrates a 2-way active system into a compact housing that was previously only available as a floorstanding speaker model. The SCM20ASL Limited Edition features ATC's proprietary 150mm "Super Linear" mid/bass driver and a 25mm "S-Spec" dual suspension tweeter.
The woofer works in a closed 20 liter housing, and the integrated Class A/B MOSFET power amplifier can deliver 200 W and 50 W continuous power to the woofer and tweeter respectively. The speaker crossovers are active, analog 2nd order Linkwitz-Riley crossovers, and an all-pass filter optimizes the phase response in the frequency response range, resulting in significantly improved tonal balance and imaging.
The speaker's input is via a balanced XLR connector on the back. The controls regulate the input sensitivity and the reduction or boost of the low frequencies. The input sensitivity control allows the user to adjust the input gain to suit the specific source and preamp combination. With the bass control, users can subtly adjust the bass response to suit the room and personal taste. The speaker has a removable grille covered with dark blue, acoustically transparent fabric.
