R210s Active Subwoofer

R210s is designed as a stand alone 2ch high fidelity speaker with the versatility to be used as part of multi-channel systems. Sharing “trickle-down” technology from our flagship S-Series, the DPC-Array here based on three 26mm domes, guarantees excellent directivty control and timbre matching with all R-Series speakers. The Silk diaphrams developed ground up, chosen specifically their smooth, effortless representaion of midrange and treble. The 165mm woofers are made from our proprietary HPF pulp, two years in devlopment, bringing new technolgy to one of the oldest materials used in loudspeaker design. The R7t can be aligned as bass reflex or acoustic suspension depending on specfic tastes. Rich, dynamic bass matched with advanced mid/treble directivity pattern control and silky highs offer best in class performance.

Dynamic, Accurate, Solid. The audiophile’s choice. Only upscaled by our D-series subwoofers output capability but still giving you the same technology and great low frequency extension. Where sound quality and Transients free of overhang are paramount. Simply no better expression of bass performance then our push-pull subs. Ground up drivers developed by our team of engineers. Glass fiber composite diaphragms, multiple aluminum shorting rings, massive magnets, multi-layer Nomex spiders and lightweight aluminum voice coil wire are the key ingredients – Proprietary nonlinear modeling techniques allow us to simulate all these components and then optimize for real world driver performance – free air and in box. Further refinement is done with the aid of Klippel laser measurements to dial things in. To take performance to another level, the push-pull drivers reduce even order harmonics distortion by an additional 10-12dB. Powered by our 1.3kW amplifier, all functions and safeties are controlled by a 48-bit data bath DSP and 32-bit ARM M4 Cortex processor, able to react in microseconds, powerful enough to slam. All R-Series subs share our 2.4” LCD touchscreen display and ability to control advance settings using our App. Certified THX Dominus when 4 R210s subs are used a testament to the level of design and performance achieved.
