Renowned British audio brand Audiolab has announced the launch of the 6000A MkII, the latest evolution of its acclaimed 6000A integrated amplifier. Refined Digital Architecture: A New ESS DAC for Enhanced Performance

At the heart of the 6000A MkII lies a major digital upgrade: the ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M DAC. This next-generation 32-bit digital-to-analog converter replaces the ES9018K2M found in the original model, promising improved resolution, dynamic range, and overall sonic clarity. The post-DAC filter has also been optimized using Class A circuitry, a feature borrowed from Audiolab’s high-end 9000A and 7000A amplifiers, ensuring more natural and detailed audio reproduction.

While retaining its 50W per channel (8 ohms) Class AB amplification, the 6000A MkII benefits from a redesigned toroidal transformer and refined power supply.
